SEA-S provides citizens with the Emergency Freephone number, free of charge for emergencies only and reachable 24 hours a day from both landline and mobile networks., dedicated exclusively to reporting situations that can generate danger to people and/or degradation or that impact on hygienic-sanitary conditions. In particular, by calling this toll-free number, Users/Citizens can make requests for Emergency Intervention relating to the following cases:

  • Emergency requests for incorrect positioning or overturning of street and proximity collection bins, or waste bins, in cases where they obstruct normal traffic.

Requests for emergency intervention concerning the cases listed below must instead be forwarded to the local Municipal Police Command of the Municipality and/or to the municipal technical offices.

  • urgent requests for the removal of abandoned waste, where situations of criticality exist regarding safety, or where it obstructs normal traffic, or generates situations of degradation, or impacts hygienic-sanitary conditions;
  • Emergency requests concerning the removal of road waste following accidents, where it obstructs normal traffic flow or creates hazardous situations;

SEA-S is committed to responding promptly to all emergency call requirements, reaching the intervention site within 4 hours of receiving the request. Should it be necessary to characterise abandoned waste for its removal, SEA-S will secure and cordon off the area within four (4) hours of arriving at the call site, ensuring the protection of the environment and/or people and/or property. In such cases, the Operator undertakes to remove the waste within fifteen (15) working days of the area being secured.
