The Civic Amenity Site (CAS) for separated waste is the drop-off point for all waste that, due to its nature or size, cannot be disposed of through the normal collection system in place.

The CDR is a logistics hub of great importance in a modern collection system, and it is a place where citizens can go to deposit their bulky waste.

The CDR is manned by Sea-S personnel, whose role is to check access and coordinate waste disposal activities. It is located at Via Caravaggio 9r and is open during the following hours:

    • From Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
    • Saturday from 09:00 to 15:00
    • On Sundays from 08:00 to 13:00

The last entry of the day is 15 minutes before closing.

ACCESS METHODS FOR THE COLLECTION CENTRE

Access methods to the CDR, Waste accepted, types of users admitted The behaviours that they will have to adopt are regulated by the Municipality of Savona with its own “ORGANISATIONAL DISCIPLINE FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF THE SAVONA MUNICIPAL COLLECTION CENTRE” approved by Resolution of the Municipal Executive Board No. 54 of 05/06/2020.

In particular:

    • Private citizens who are registered holders of a waste tax (TARI) account in the Municipality of Savona, and who are up to date with their payments, can access the collection centre.

    • Each user, if they cannot deliver their waste directly to the collection centre, has the option to delegate another private citizen upon depositing their waste; the delegate may access the CDR equipped with a duly completed and signed authorisation form in all its parts, with a copy of the delegator's identity document attached. The delegation model to be presented is the one attached;

    • With regard to provision of inert materials (e.g. cement, bricks, tiles) it is specified that such waste may only be deposited by the account holder, limited to that arising from small maintenance, construction or demolition work, carried out directly by the tenant or owner of the dwelling.
      For such waste, it is therefore not possible to delegate anyone to dispose of it, but the account holder must attend in person.
      The material must be accompanied from the self-declaration attached failing which the material will not be accepted;
    • In order to reduce waiting times and optimise delivery operations, waste to be delivered to the RDF must be pre-separated by type before access.

  Please Please review the attached documents before coming to the CDR.
