Privacy e immagini

SEA-S s.r.l. points out that current civil and criminal laws protect the right to the image and privacy of persons.

In particular, he recalls that images portraying a person may not be exhibited, reproduced, marketed or, in any case, communicated or disseminated to third parties, including via the internet, without that person's consent (Article 96 of Law 633/1941 “Copyright Law”) and that, in any case, it is forbidden to do so when this would prejudice the honour, reputation or even the decorum of the person portrayed (Article 97 of Law 633/1941).

This behaviour is also considered unlawful by the Criminal Code, which expressly prohibits the harassment or disturbance of persons by anyone in a public place or a place open to the public, or by means of the telephone (Art. 660 of the Criminal Code).

Violation of these legal provisions entitles the person concerned to take legal action and claim compensation for any damage.

SEA-S s.r.l. also reports the above in order to protect its employees.
